Don't worry Oskar is not lost! He has been adopted and we could not be happier for our little boy. He has been in foster care since May and with us since July. He was looking for his perfect fit forever home and man did he get it! This little black beauty will be the apple his new mom's eye as she just loves loves loves black doggies. No Black Dog Syndrome in her thinking oh no. His forever mom already has a big beautiful black lab named Max and he will be a wonderful, gentle, and patient big brother to Oskar as he learns that some big dogs are nothing but love and Oskar can learn to feel confident and comfortable in the presence of dear Max.
I will miss opening up my blog to add another post and not see Oskar's picture there on the heading with his little adopt me scarf on (stay tuned for a new picture soon), but my husband and I are so completely happy for him. As luck would have it he will only be a short distance away and we can go visit anytime and also we will have him for over nighters when his new mom needs to go somewhere that she can't take him with. But most of the time he will be with his mom and Max or just Max when she is at work. Happy tails sweet boy. You are going to do great! Here is a look back on Oskar and his stay with us in foster care.
