Say Hi to Chevette!

Chevette is a 3 month old tuxedo coated Rat Terrier pup who was found running along the road near one of our CA New Rattitude foster homes. When the family was found they did not want the puppy. Lynn, who happens to be a New Rattitude volunteer was the one who found Chevette and her mother, was instrumental to get her on the transport to WA so we could foster her, and is working with Chevette's former family to help them find a low cost option to spay and neuter their family dogs since their female 2 yr old Rat Terrier was having litters every 6 months. Thank you Lynn for saving Chevette from certain doom. She is safe and sound now and being fostered by us here in Snohomish, WA.

Chevette weighs in at 7 1/2 lbs and so we are thinking she is going to be in the 13-16 lb range as an adult.

Chevette needed a bath, she smelled pretty bad

I doubt she has ever had a bath before but she was a real trooper!

I love toweling off pictures

Such a bright eyed girl!

Sweetie pie
She was all over the yard exploring.

Chevette is 7 1/2 lbs of pure cuteness

More curiosity.

She is not afraid of the camera, so I should be able to continue to get good pictures of her.
She finally found a place to rest after all that exploring and her bath

Crashed out. Sweet dreams.....
