Kia Is In The House!
Kia was transported by a wonderful non profit called Gettin' em Home Transports, this is an all volunteer en devour and I am really impressed with the dedication and organization of the way this group is run. Being that Kia has not had the chance to get all her vaccines yet she was listed as NPOTG, that means No Paws On The Ground, and basically her feet were not allowed to touch public bare ground for the two days she was making her way up from Sacramento, CA to WA. Volunteers would set up safe areas for her to go potty on pee pads when they would stop to change drivers and this way there was no way for her to contract any nasties that might be lurking on rest stop grasses or any other place they stopped to take a break and potty the dogs. They really go the extra mile to insure the safety of the precious cargo they are transporting.
As you can imagine by the time Kia got to our house and was able to get those little paws on the ground in our yard, she was more than raring to go. She just went and went and went! It was hard to get much more than blurry pics but I did get a few gems and some video of this compact little rattie unit. :)
Kia is just nothing short of stunning.
Love the way she play bows, just adorable.
Kia and Tim getting their play on. I was thrilled that he took to her so quickly.
Captivating eyes
It was great that Tim was up for helping Kia burn some of that pent up transport energy off. The other dogs in our crew were happy to just continue business as usual. Kia didn't stir up any fusses with the other dogs. She is a fantastic little rattie pup.
And coming up another Egg Baby post. One of my favorite things to post about!
