A few days ago we got to go to our friend's warm and cozy home in Seattle for a nice long visit. Being that they are also adopters of one of my first foster dogs, Tripp, and dog lovers like us, we also got to bring the troops! Yup all 6 of our dogs and their three dogs/kids, all hanging out together on a springy, sunny, gorgeous Seattle evening. I can't really think of much in life that trumps the combination of good friends, dogs, and wine/food. Can you?
Another great thing about this evening was Timken. The last time we visited, back in November or December, he made it all of about 20 minutes in the house and was so anxious that he spent the remainder of the time we were there in his crate in the car. He just was a mess. I am happy to report he was part of the mix for the entire visit, about 5 hours, this time. That is a HUGE improvement and everyone really saw how far he has come in foster care.

Neon found the house toys in about 3 seconds flat. She was very congenial and comfortable from the beginning. |

Neon and Timken. Tim just getting his bearings.... |
A check in with foster dad, but tail not tucked, this was just a few minutes in. Good boy! |
After some talking and getting settled and the dogs getting a chance to get acquainted with each other again, there was just one more thing to do. |
Everybody is pretty interested in something.... |
Tim is showing he is not sure about something... |
what could it be???? |
Birdie, Tripp, Skip, Timken, Neon, and Jenny are all hanging out waiting for something to happen. |
Still waiting...... |
Please check in tomorrow, to see what all the waiting and interest was about.....care to guess?
