What I Did On My Very First Vacation. Manzanita Beach part 2

Day two of our vacation we took a trip a wee bit south of Cannon Beach to the sweet little town of Manzanita. There had been a whole lot of people and dogs who were on the beach at Cannon Beach that morning and Tim was getting pretty spun up over it, he just worries so much when there is a lot of action and then it isn't relaxing for any of us! So we decided to check out the beach a bit south and found it to be very sparsely populated by anyone else. Tim is getting better and better with new situations but EVERYTHING on this trip was new to him and so we wanted to pace things for him so he wouldn't get too upset in his tummy or go over threshold to where he became too anxious. It worked great and he was able to have a positive experience at another beach and also in town. And no tummy upsets the whole trip!

Tim says "come on mom, stop with taking pictures and let's get going".

There was something that was very interesting to smell here, probably something "not alive" and the boys took off like a shot together to check it out!

Someone had left some zen rocks for us to contemplate while we looked out at the surf....Ommmmmmmm

Skip meditating :) "I am grateful for the time I am spending with my family at the beach, namaste......"

Tim says "MOM I do not want to stop investigating for your photo shoot, don't you see I am not wanting to stand here?"

Hey wait what is over there? And just after this photo was taken Tim was off like a shot to charge and bark at two humans and their giant dogs who came out of nowhere. Luckily they paid him no attention but we decided to head back to town for a break, a little snack, and window shopping.

What a wonderful door!

There were the coolest hand carved ornate brackets.

These structures seemed to be made out of bronze and were really fun.

We walked all over through the town and up and down all the little residential streets. We got a kick out of this little hand painted sign....
See you soon, more posts on their way.....
