Sun'bathing'

Saturday when petting Birdie I noticed a smell. All dog peeps are familiar with this odor, it lingers at the back of the dog's neck and even though the dog is struttin' the smell proudly, the person who is cuddling and stroking the dog only has to get a quick whiff to know there is something dead out in the yard...... somewhere. It turned out to be a vole. Theo The Cat graciously left the dead little burrower right where the dogs could find it...yes I do believe it is sort of a revenge he planned as he is most certainly tired of Oskar finding him asleep in the bushes and barking at him until I have to go out and remove him from the situation.

Oskar gets his first bath in his foster home, yes he rolled in the vole too!

I love Oskar's ear personality!
Skip didn't roll in the vole but he was so yellow on his neck from rolling on his ball he got a bath too.

As you can see he was very appreciative to mom for freshening him up. D'oh!
Oskar's after bath boogie...

Skip's Boogie...

woogie.....
Birdie was a vole roll culprit, she is drying off on the hot stairs, while Jenny plays coy with the camera.

Jenny was bathed too and she is enjoying the suns drying abilities with Birdie!

The ceramic slug did not roll in the vole...

Birdie is so cute! And smells good too.
