Fanny Goes to Her Furever Home

Fanny now Sookie
I am so happy to report that Miss Fanny, newly named Sookie, has been adopted by a wonderful family and is now the light of their life in her furever home. Sookie was rescued from a CA shelter before her number was up. She was in heat but luckily not pregnant. An angel flight attendant from Alaska Airlines used her free miles to personally escort Sookie from Sacramento to Seattle where she spent a few months in a foster home with a loving foster parent that kept her safe and gave her good nutritious food and all the love she needed. She was spayed before being adopted and in fantastic health! She is only 6 1/2 pounds but this is no princess...well maybe a little bit royal as her new mom picked her up from the foster's home and brought a pink carrier and pink leash and collar. Good times! She has been there one week and is doing great with three young teens who adore her, a cat and a big black lab, Stella. Her mom and dad are smitten with her as is the whole darn neighborhood. Good girl Sookie, you just keep charmin' everyone you meet. It was a pleasure to make sure you got into the perfect furever home that is worthy of you. You will always have a place in my heart with the rest of the pups that I will have the pleasure of helping to find the perfect home.
