Sunny Porch Photo Shoot

One sunny day in early winter here in the Pacific Northwest I happened to have my camera when all 5 dogs were standing on the porch steps. So I turned the opportunity into a fun photo shoot!

Some of these just crack me up!

Originally when I came upon the dogs on the porch they were all standing looking at me, but by the time I got the camera fired up they had changed positions.

Hey all 5! Birdie was more interested in closing her eyes and facing the sun than looking at mom, but I'll take it!

Hey wait! Where is everybody going?

Tim is ready for the picture to be taken...

Skip, Jenny and Tim are ready, but where is Liza? Birdie says, "See ya!".

Awww Birdie, we finally get to see her sweet face with open eyes. But everyone else has fallen apart, except Skip who is still hanging in there for mom.
Cute pic of Liza, Skip, and Birdie

Ummmm why are the dogs singing? HA! They aren't singing, they are howling!!!! We rarely have any sirens go by our house but sure enough one went right by and Liza and Skip weren't so keen on it.

This cracks me up! So why do you think Liza, Skip, and Tim are all howling and Jenny and Birdie are just standing there?--------Give up?-------Because Jenny is very hard of hearing now, and Birdie is deaf! That old siren didn't bother those two girls a bit!

This was a cute shot I thought. Liza doesn't always make it in the photos I take and when she does her coloring doesn't always show off how stunning she is. I like the dog's placement too.

January Morning Photo Shoot

So far January 2015 has been a wonderful month for long walks with the dogs. Mild temps and not too much rain has had us out pretty much 7 days a week. Last week I tried to get a good shot of all 5 dogs together but only managed to get a few smaller group shots.

Birdie and Skip contemplating together.

Now Liza wonders what is so interesting.

Skip and Liza and a perfectly still pond! Almost doesn't look real.

Birdie, Jenny, Skip, and Tim, but no Liza!
Maybe one of these days I can get all 5 to be in one place at the same time I have the camera out and ready. :)

Quick Photo Shoot

We got some new treats in our February Bark Box. Tim, Birdie, Skip, and Jenny all got in on the act of sitting for a treat, so I turned it into a 4 dog photo shoot. I always like to look back and see these shoots, they always crack me up when I see what we end up with.

Skip, Timken and Birdie.Birdie is usually such a good sitter and other photo shoots with her in them she is usually just sitting so patiently but this time she was all over the board! LOL
Jenny sitting so nicely...for a change, he he he

See again Birdie is not focused, I think she thinks there is a stray treat and maybe there is, I should know better than to doubt Birdie's nose.
Skip was super focused that day and I think Birdie was trying to make sure poor Tim didn't get "her" treat.

Skip and Birdie, Birdie's tail is going a mile a minute and she looks like she is ready to take off flying for the treat.

This cracked me up! Birdie what has gotten into you?
Tim says, "I will stay over here, she is making me nuts!"

Nice pic of Skip, Jenny, and Tim

The boys of the house. So sweet.

Well there you have it! Just a quick photo shoot.

Photo-shoot Going For 8

OK the last photo-shoot we did was with 6 dogs and we barely got a picture with them all in. But this time we had 4 personal dogs, 2 foster dogs (Timken and Sybil) and 2 visiting dogs (Vespa and Elphie). When Vespa's moms came to pick up the girls they were excited for me to try and get all 8 into the photo.

I count 7 in this picture. What a herd of little dogs!

Pretty sure there are 7 in this picture.
7 and where the heck is Liza? Plus the camera strap is in the picture...try again

7 again, no Liza and camera strap still in photo...this is harder than you would think lol

Again no Liza but the strap is gone. Love Elphie's smile. If Birdie had been looking at the camera this would have been a good 7 dog photo

ok we regrouped, Dave is working the crowd now, and who is that I see? Liza Bear has joined in, so there is 8!!!!

Quite the blur of black and white.

Ok we did get 8 dogs in but no one is looking at the camera, I am sure there will be another chance to try, A for effort!

Tim's Fall Photo Shoot

Yesterday we took Timken to a Rat Terrier Meet Up at a small dog off leash park. There were so many ratties and rattie moms and dads. This venue was too much for Tim as he was kind of a nervous wreck about everything new. New place, new people, new dogs and noise and bustling. I didn't get any pictures taken as I was more concerned with making sure he was ok and also managing the other 4 dogs we brought with us.

But have no fear! I did get a lot of beautiful pictures of Tim today as he was relaxed in the yard in the sunshine.

Oh Tim you handsome devil (angel) you....

Tim is filling out nicely, he has gained a few ounces and I think he is at his ideal weight now!

Just like a model, strike a pose.

Tim and Skip showing how the young and the senior models do it.

Money shot! KA-CHING!

Cuteness Alert...Puppy Adorableness!

Puppy pictures don't need a lot of introduction, please enjoy the cuteness bomb!

Junie sportin' her Puppia Harness is XS

Do you mind? I have a stick that needs chewing...

This stick works good for a teething pup.

I love Mesquite's gray line between the black and white of his little face.
The next set of pictures were all taken within about 10 minutes time. Silly puppies could not figure out which way they wanted to lay, they just both wanted to get comfortable in the sun.

They started like this...
To this...
to this...
to this....
Where is Juniper?
Ahhh now this is comfortable...
Hey there she is, messing Mesquite all up.
My comfy bed...
Well it was mine...
Mesquite checks out the tissue he ripped up earlier in the day..
Finally a comfortable position! LOL
